orange and blue

this started as a lockdown project with ROMEK PALUCH-EDWARDS: the idea was to make tiny blocks of sound with guitar pedals and combine those with filthy old analogue synths and beats. as the project went on it became clear that some of the pieces could use vocals, so I added those sparingly, à la Can. some optimism to cast light on the dark lockdown days we all went through. there are some guests: Saul Adamczewski (ex Fat White Family) sings backing vocals on 3 songs, Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin on guitar and Ted Parsons (Swans, Prong, Killing Joke) guests on drums on some songs. Mark Steiner provides surrealist backing vocals/talking on Obscure Perversions and ears throughout the recordings.

the pieces are progressive in the sense that they only work from the start: section 2 loops part of section 1, and so on, so they don’t make much sense if you just dip in at 2mins. hope you have time to do that: all feedback welcome.
